Ancient magic is a powerfull thing and if you want to be a good mage i recommend ancienting. you can
hit up to 30's with ice barrage (known as a giant ice cube). 94 mage is hard to get and i think 90 mage potting to 94
is okay for short term but after that do 92 and gradually 94 and 99.
Ancient mage is helpfull while pking or in castlewars. All the ice spells freeze your opponet for a period of time. Smoke
spells poison the target and shadow spells lowers the attack depending on how high of a shadow spell you use, and finally
blood spells which when you use a blood spell on target your damage is given to you as hitpoints.
Personally for a good mage outfit i recommend ahrims top+bottom with some boots, mage ammy and a mage book if you can
afford. Wands are also neat and adds looks too outfit but the ancient staff by far is nice looking and to me looks like a
bubble wand.
One other thing i like alot is ancient teleport spells because you have purple brick like things totally surround you
and then you teleport.
For leveling mage ancients isn't the greatest and cheapest way of doing it. But if you are super rich then do it but
for those who arent i reccomend high alching yew longs, or green/blue dragonhide tops.
